This knife is a very durable and high quality piece. he texture of the handle is very smooth but yet has a lot of grip. The blade itself is a beauty for it comes pre sharpended(little too much almost) and it very sturdy. The spring is very strong and provides a quick assist with the flip of a thumb or push of an index finger. Over all a great knife and will continue to buy kershaw again.
