Great rifle for hunting and target shooting. Light enough for my younger son to use it without having it feel to heavy or hard to carry.

I bought this gun to familiarize and educate my kids with firearms. I also purchased a Tasco 3-9x x 40mm scope and bore sited it before taking it out for the first time. Within the first 10 round magazine I was punching a 1 inch circle drawn on a box at 50 yards every shot - that equates to a deadly squirrel or rabbit gun. Very light weight and the synthetic stock makes it a natural because its very durable.

An awesome, starter gun for a child, plinking targets, or small game to varmits. Or just a cool gun to play around with.

I bought this gun for my 9 yr. old son for christmas. The butt stock is a little long for him but with open sites he is a deadly accurate shot with it. Him and I have a blast shooting it. I highly recomend this gun to anyone that enjoys plicking around on targets or popping squirrels to a great starter gun for a child for their first gun. He handles the gun great and is a great gun to promote safety with. I made a promise to him that after he kills his first squirrel one shot then Id buy him a scope. But all in all, Its an awesome gun for all around, open sights or scoped.

The 795 is a nice rifle. It handles well, is light and accurate. Also, I live in a suburban area where high speed rounds are not practical, but using a 22 LR CB round, I get one shot kills at 20 yards ]no scope[. I''d recommend the 795 with this round in tight areas where noise and ammunition carry through need to be kept to a minimum. Watch your background and it''s almost 100 one shot one kill.
