06-22-10 These mounts added the .5 inch I need to bring my scope into proper alignment with my eye and yet are light enough to keep the total weight down. HOWEVER, as I read in another review, the tolerances are set a bit too tight and I had to tap them onto the rail with a mallet and this marred the finish of my camo R-15 and I had to touch it up. There is a trade-off for the benefit. Bill in Wisc.

Purchased a set for my R15. They will not fit on the rail without flexing the opening some. I''m guessing the specs were set prior to the camo finish being applied to both gun and risers. Removing the camo on the mated surfaces would work as well, but what a shame that would be.
