Only gave these four stars instead of five because I have not yet shot the gun they are on and because they were a little difficult to put together as opposed to horizontally split rings. After a couple of fumbles, though, got them installed on my CVA Electra with no additional problem. Initial trouble probably more to do with the fact I had never used vertically split rings before than anything to do with the rings themselves. The rings work well with the Durasight bases that come with the rifle. Appears to be a good system and I anticipate no problems down the line. Very satisfied with purchase.
