The stainless-steel locking liner is totally safe and secure and gives limited access. The AUS 8 stainless steel blade is there for strength and won't rust or corrode in any weather. The blade for this Columbia River knife has a full-size blade that is a modified dual grind Tanto-style. The Teflon bearings at the blade pivot and the thumb studs can be operated by either a left or right handed user. The gear clip provided for this Columbia River knife lets you carry it anywhere and clip on to any clothing or pack.
