These grips are much nicer than the original walnut set that comes with the 1911 R1 (IMHO). The quality and "virtually indestructable" feel of the grips also seems (to me) very apparent. It''s also nice to have the Remington emblems. This company also delivered them quickly and at a competitive price. While checking around for prices - which were essentially the same after shipping - these guys seemed to be the only company that actually had the grips in stock.
