Definately not a drop in on my Springfield 1911A1. I have had to gring material off both sides in order to pivot smoothly,grind in the thumb well edges to even fit the pivot pin, and cut the safetey tab up a bit to allow the trigger to even move.I have it functioning now and might cut even more after getting some test firing in.Keep in mind I am not a gun smith and this ismy first attempt at improving my handgun.
